Story

Welcome to Bark & Board Inn, where we provide a loving and comfortable home away from home for your furry family members.

At Bark & Board Inn, our love for animals, especially dogs, runs deep. We understand the
importance of finding a trustworthy and caring environment for your pets when you can't be with them. That's why we decided to turn our passion into a business and create a dog
boarding facility right on our property.

Our journey began with our beloved dog, Maggie, who holds a special place in our hearts.She has taught us the true meaning of unconditional love and has become the center of our family. Inspired by her, we wanted to create a space where dogs can feel just as loved and cherished as Maggie does.

But our decision to start this business goes beyond our love for dogs. As a parent, I understand the challenges of balancing work and family life. The stress and struggle of a corporate job left me longing for a better way to provide for my family while being present in my children’s milestones. I want to show my kids that with faith in ourselves and hard work, anything is possible.

So, I made the decision to step away from the traditional office setting and build something of my own. In 2023 we transformed our pole barn into an all-inclusive dog boarding facility, designed to meet the needs of both dogs and their owners.

For us, this venture is a win-win situation. Not only do we get to spend our days surrounded by the joy and happiness that dogs bring but we also have the privilege of making a living by ensuring their well-being.

We believe that a happy dog makes for a happy owner, and we strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment where dogs can thrive.
